Sweet Repeats was born out of owner, Jean Watson’s love of clothing. Early on she realized she could turn her passion into her livelihood. Upon moving to Jacksonville, Jean sought a way to pair her University of Richmond accounting degree business side with her fashion-forward creative side. Identifying a need for her niche designer consignment store, Jean established Sweet Repeats, now in its 27th year of business.
Forever innovative in this industry, Jean was honored with the Women In Business Pioneer of the Year Award in 2013. In keeping with that honor, she launched Sweet Repeats’ online consignment shop in 2014.
Jean is an active member in her community. She was an active member of the Junior League of Jacksonville for ten years and is currently a sustaining member of the organization. She is a member of the Women Business Owners of North Florida, and is a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce Professional Women’s Council. Over the years, Jean has donated her time to March of Dimes, Hospice of Northeast Florida, the Jacksonville Symphony and Hubbard House.
